Twenty-one worlds of the Solar System in 3D
The globe is not only the Earth. Step from world to world: the Sun with today's sunspots, Mercury and Venus, the Moon and Mars, Jupiter with Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto, Saturn with Titan and Enceladus, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
Each world wears the best global map its spacecraft have made — Voyager and Galileo, Cassini, New Horizons, Dawn — and the surface features carry the names the International Astronomical Union gave them.
It is a quiet way to feel the scale of the neighbourhood: from a moon smaller than a city to a planet eleven Earths across.
